In conclusion, Rightmove continues to dominate online property marketing delivering record traffic and leads at ever increasing ARPA; Zoopla continues to increase ARPA and diversify away from its reliance on portals; and OTM is an unwanted third corporate marketing overhead, irrelevant to the continued domination of Rightmove and Zoopla.
The only way to achieve a long term solution for the industry is through genuine and ethical mutuality.
We will not make overblown promises, nor waste our partners funding until we have sufficient partners to make an impact. We will then commit at least 50% of ALL income on our annual mass media marketing budget.
CREVALA’s property portal, PropertyMutual.com, was launched in free testing mode as a residential, commercial and rural property portal in January 2014.
We now wish to convert free feeds to paid subscriptions and bring on-board additional partners to achieve a critical mass. This will enable us to cover our operating costs and start building our marketing budget.
We feel that the time has arrived to remind the property industry that it has an ethical and mutual alternative to excessive corporate profits if it is willing to fund our growth with partner subscriptions.
